Ever since I was a kid Reese’s has been my favorite candy. So making these chocolatey, peanut butter truffles is kind of a no brainer for me! The peanut butter is so creamy and the chocolate is amazing. Especially if you eat them straight out of the refrigerator. Oh, and guess what. These bite size Reese’s balls really do taste like Reese’s!

I just recently made these for my family for Thanksgiving. I couldn’t make them for just around the house because I would just sit around and eat them all!

The recipe is really simple. It does take a while to roll up the peanut butter mixture into the balls, but since I just make them for special occasions, I would say it’s totally worth it.

This time when I made these yummy candies, I made them about half the size that I usually do. I thought it would be neat if they were more bite size, so that you could just pop one in your mouth.

It was a great idea!

They were much easier to eat and they were pretty dang cute too!

How To Make Bite Size Reese’s Balls

Like I said before, these are really simple to make. Rolling up the balls is a little time consuming, especially if you go the bite size route like I did this last time.

You won’t be sorry though!

Also, you don’t have to worry about turning on the oven because these delicious Reese’s balls are no bake.

So first, you will mix the peanut butter, salted butter and vanilla. Then add in powdered sugar a little bit at a time.

This should end up making a big yummy peanut butter ball in your mixing bowl. If you don’t have that yet, you might need to add a bit more powdered sugar.

It’s a lot a easier if you use a mixer and not by hand. I use just a simple handheld mixer like this one. I’ve used it for years and it’s been perfect for everything I need it for.

Cover bowl and let sit in refrigerator to chill.

Now you will shape your balls to whatever size you desire. Mine were about half an inch. (About the size of a marble) Place on wax paper.

Place back into refrigerator for again, covered. This step makes dipping into chocolate much easier.

Reeses Peanut Butter Balls

Melt your chocolate and dip balls into chocolate and place back on wax paper. Put your Reese’s balls back into refrigerator to let chocolate harden.

Give them another 20 minutes or so (if you can wait that long) and enjoy!

I hope these are as big of a hit for you as they always are for me. If you want more chocolatey, delicious recipes check out my Double Chocolate Banana Bread. It’s really easy and SO GOOD!
